This is so stupid, I freaking love Iker Casillas but Jose Mourinho still remains the best coach ever for me, so how come on earth can’t I like both??? Anon you’re not making any sense
Thank you. You can’t overlook people’s achievement when it’s right there in front of you in black and white. People, don’t be so ignorant please. Iker is not any less of a goalkeeper and Mou is not any less of a coach just because they didn’t get along.
Anonymous asked: you can be oblivious to the mourinho-casillas conflict all you want but it exists and is one of the reason why the dressing room broke apart last season. idk if you know this but aitor karanka in an interview last week gave strong hints about it. he didn't say it out right but he did basically confirm that it was casillas who was the mole.
I don’t exactly understand who’s side are you on here but yes in fact I read Karanka’s interview and I think it was very professional of him not to give any statements of that sort during the time he was still employed by RM. But now he can say whatever he pleases. In my opinion, people are still acting too diplomatic about what happened in that dressing room. The only people ever to speak about that situation more have been Casillas (blaming Mou) and Karanka (blaming Iker) so far.
I think these things run way way way deeper than what it is presented in the media and Casillas and Mourinho have only caught the biggest flames in the story. That’s why I feel no shame in supporting them both because like the coin has two sides, there are two stories behind this conflict. It is about the journalism, the management and socios of RM, the history and the institutions installed within the club. I don’t have the power to change that. Neither did Mourinho. But what he and Casillas did on the pitch earned my respect and unlike many people who feel they have to choose between these two heroes, I try to be less ignorant and be thankful to both of them.
